Loreak kaiolan is a costume project for the musical duo Smeltvand, in collaboration with Danish multicisciplinary artist Emilie Strøm. Inspired by the photographic artworks developed by Smeltvand for their performances, the pieces explore the fragility and longevity of nature and its resources. Every garment is hand crafted with antique and vintage textiles collected throughout the development process of this project.
