memory meets identity.

Asier Quintana is a Basque independent designer behind his namesake brand. Born and raised in a small town near Bilbao, he later moved to Copenhagen, where he completed his Master’s degree at the Royal Danish Academy. Today, he works from his atelier in Copenhagen, where he continues to develop his design practice.

Quintana’s work is rooted in traditional tailoring techniques, which he reinterprets through contemporary and emotionally driven narratives. Wear, imperfection, vulnerability and flaws become essential through his collections, drawing on historical references and embracing decadence. This approach reflects his ongoing exploration of hereditary knowledge inherited from an understanding of craftsmanship and sensibility. It’s this legacy that guides both his technical process and creative instinct.

Challenging conventional ideas of gender in clothing is an organic part of his work. His designs aim to soften the limits of dress codes and offer garments that feel personal, rather than prescriptive.

Craftsmanship plays a central role in every piece of Asier Quintana. The garments are designed with close attention to detail, construction, and labour. Each garment pays a quiet homage that honours ancestry through a dialogue between the past and the present.

custom orders

In addition to his collections and personal projects, Asier offers custom-made garments tailored to individual clients and special occasions. These pieces are developed through a close, collaborative process, ensuring that each one reflects the wearer’s needs and sensibility while staying true to Asier’s aesthetic universe. Whether it's for a performance, a ceremony, or a personal wardrobe staple, custom work offers space for shared.
