BIZIRAUN. THE LASTING IMAGERY

(Biziraun, Basque for ” enduring” or “lasting”)

This editorial is a creative collaboration between designer Asier Quintana, stylist & visual artist Chenert Allikmaa and fashion photographer Hannah Skovbjerg. This editorial revises Asier’s first collection ‘Biziraun’, which is built from fragments of vintage clothing and personal familiar archive, and follows a story:

A mother. Her children. A house that hums with memory. In this spectral tableau, garments become vessels, holding grief, inheritance, and the unspoken ties between generations. Loosely inspired by The Others, this shoot’s story drifts between reality and apparition: when the mother sees the ghost of her own mother, time folds in on itself. Something ends. Or begins.

Here, in a home that carries bittersweet memories, Biziraun lives on, not as a scream, but as a whisper.
